After winning the toss and batting first, the Adelaide Strikers sum up a small total of 131 in front of Heat. The good start of the openers couldn’t be carried so far as after the ten overs the team scored even less than 6-runs per over. Alex Carey and Jake Weatherald added 40-runs the first 7 overs. Also, Weatherald who scored 32 runs for his team was the highest scorer in the first inning.

The partnership between Joe Denly (41) and Jimmy Pierson (47*) helped Brisbane to emerge from the three early wickets.
