BBL: Adelaide Strikers beat Sydney Thunder by six runs

BBL: It is match number 52 of the Big Bash League. Adelaide Strikers vs Sydney Thunder. After winning the toss Strikers opted to bat first. The openers played some charismatic and gave the team a solid start. 42/1 as Alex Carey was dismissed on 29 off 23 balls, a sound start but failed to make it count. we rarely witness three batsmen losing their wickets on the same score. Jake Weatherald, Phil Salt and skipper Travis Head lost their wicket’s on the score of 31. Ryan Gibson’s cameo of 22 off 15 balls led Strikers’ to finish at 159/6. The bowlers did a fantastic. A narrow win was accomplished credit to the bowlers, who bowled according to the field and made sure to finish well. Peter Siddle and Michael Neser bowled particularly well and pocketed two wickets apiece.

The visitors did well to restrict the hosts under 160. However, their batsmen didn’t play the way had planned. A decent score, however. they were so close. But the hosts did their best to make this target as huge possible by not conceding easy runs.
