Alex Hales broke the record of most sixes in a single BBL season with a total of 30 sixes and helped his team to reach the playoffs. With a total of 53 fours and 30 sixes coming out of Hales’ bat this season, the 32-year old player tops this list as well. Hales’ four sixes at the Adelaide Oval tonight powered him to top another list – one that of hitting most sixes in a BBL season.

Hales, who won yet another ‘Man of the Match’ award for scoring 63* (39) with the help of four fours and as many sixes, is also the highest run-scorer this season till now with his 535 runs coming at an average and strike rate of 41.15 and 163.60 respectively.
Coming on the back of an equally impressive maiden season at Thunder last season, Hales is leaving no stone unturned in a bid to make a national comeback for England.
