Bangladesh’s all rounder Shakib Al Hasan believes that that he can send “feedback” from the IPL

Shakib Al Hasan believes that they can send feedback from the IPL to the nation team to help their performances in the upcoming T20 World Cup.

Bangladesh’s top cricketer Shakib Al Hasan believes his presence in the IPL dressing rooms along with fellow team members and pace bowler Mustafizur Rahman will help them give information about the players with who they are sharing their dressing rooms. These same players will turn into rivals after the IPL, as they will represent their countries in the T20 World Cup. The tournament is going to be held in the UAE and Oman from the 17th of October.

In the IPL, top all-rounder Shakib plays for Kolkata Knight Riders and Mustafizur is a part of Rajasthan Royals.

Shakib said that he is hopeful that the IPL helps everyone and will be spending time on the same pitches that will be played on the T20 World Cup and hence can share the experience with other team members of Bangladesh. He added that they will understand the other players’ mindset, what they are thinking about the World Cup, and then report it back to their team members.

He continued saying that acclimatization won’t be a problem for the team as the other members would arrive 15-16 days before the World Cup, which is good enough time to adjust to the conditions and thinks that pitches and conditions won’t be a problem as they have built a winning mentality which will help them be confident during the World Cup.

Bangladesh has won three successive T20I series against Zimbabwe, Australia and New Zealand which have been giving them experience before the tournament starts.

Shakib believes that Bangladesh has the team to win the Cup for the first time but things will have been favourable for the team.
