Bangladesh embarks on World Test Championship journey with exciting Series line-up

Bangladesh has kickstarted its preparations for the new cycle of the World Test Championship by extending invitations to Ireland and Afghanistan for Test matches. The team, led by Litton Das, began their campaign with a dominating victory over Afghanistan, winning by a staggering margin of 546 runs. Earlier this year, they also secured a comfortable win against Ireland.

After finishing outside the top half of the points table in the previous two WTC cycles, Bangladesh is determined to improve their standing in the current cycle that commenced this week. Like the other eight teams, Bangladesh is scheduled to play six series from 2023 to 2025, with three at home and three away.
