The second Test match between Bangladesh and West Indies leaned towards visitors when they bowled Bangladesh for 296 runs in the 3rd day after putting up a brilliant 409 in the first inning. With the help of Joseph, N Bonner, and da Silva’s fifties West Indies get the monstrous score of 409 on the board.

Bangladesh lost their opener, Soumya Sarkar, early in the game when Gabriel strikes for the visitors. Soumya Sarkar was unable to add any run to the team score. The hosts were trying to get the rhythm against the West Indies bowler but the great spell of Gabriel and R Cornwall did the job for West Indies.

The partnership between Mehidy Hasan and Liton Das provided some strength to the Bangladesh team and they get 296 in their first inning. Wicket-keeper batsman Mehidy Hasan was the highest scorer for Bangladesh in the first inning with a fighting score of 71-runs in 133 balls. R Cornwell picked his 3rd five-wicket haul and helped his team to restrict the hosts at a low total.

Even though, when Werst Indies came for their second inning things seem not to turn in their favor. The team did not get a good start and the players failed to perform one after another. West Indies lost their first three wickets in just span of 13 overs and hoping to get good start in the Sunday morning. Before the end of the day, visitors scored 41-3 with N Bonner and Jomel Warrican on the crease.
