The Bangladesh Cricket Board revealed their 14-member selection on Saturday, with opener Tamim Iqbal returning to the Test squad for the lone Test against Ireland.
Due to an illness, Tamim was unable to play in the series against India. Shadman Islam, Shoriful Islam, and Ebadot Hossain are also back in the team for the Test match, which will be played at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium from April 4 to 8.

Minhajul Abedin, the national top selection, said on Saturday that while he is thrilled to have Tamim back, he is also unhappy that opener Zakir Hasan, who established a name for himself in the most recent Test series against India, was forced to sit out due to illness.
