The Indian cricket team is not in a great position in the first Test match against Bangladesh as they have lost some early wickets. The opening batters KL Rahul and Shubman Gill were dismissed early by Bangladeshi bowlers. They dominated the first session.
Rishabh Pant who handled the innings with Cheteshwar Pujara also got out on 46 runs in the crucial stage. Former Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli could only score 1 run in this innings. Rishabh Pant had a soft dismissal and he had to move out after making a 50+ run partnership with Cheteshwar Pujara.
Shreyas Iyer who came on to bat after Rishabh Pant’s wicket reached a new milestone as he became the first Indian to score in double figures in each of the first 10 innings he played in Test cricket. He is currently playing along with Cheteshwar Pujara and has successfully crossed the double-figure mark.
