However one of the Indian batters named Cheteshwar Pujara reached a new milestone on day 2.

The Indian batter becomes the eighth Indian batter to complete 7000 Test runs in this ongoing game against Bangladesh. However, the batter couldn’t go further as he was dismissed early by a Bangladeshi bowler named Taijul Islam. A good catch by Mominul left Cheteshwar Pujara with no other option but to go back to the pavilion.

Cheteshwar Pujara scored 24 runs in the first innings and got out when India was 72/2. Cheteshwar Pujara reached this milestone when he was playing on 16 runs.

Indian team still trailing by 141 runs. Rishabh Pant and Virat Kohli are at the crease and will need to go bigger if they want to win the game and seal the series by 2-0.
