BAN v IND day 2: India dominates the first session

Ravichandran Ashwin is close to scoring his half-century on day 2.

The Indian cricket team is in a good position on day 2 so far as Ravichandran Ashwin and Kuldeep Yadav have dominated the first session. The Indian cricket team did lose some early wickets on day 2 but Ashwin and Kuldeep handled the innings well.

Ravi Ashwin is close to his half-century in the first Test match against Bangladesh at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium. The spin bowlers are taking over Bangladeshi bowlers. Indian batter Shreyas Iyer who was playing well on day 1 got out on the second day. Ibadat Hossain bowled Shreyas Iyer out in the first session itself. Shreyas Iyer scored 86 runs on a pitch where other batters were finding it difficult to score runs.

Ravi Ashwin is playing aggressive cricket since he has come onto the crease. Left-arm spinner Kuldeep Yadav is also supporting him. Ashwin is playing on 40* and has already hit 1 six and 2 boundaries.
