For tomorrow’s first ODI against Zimbabwe, Adam Zampa is back in the Australian lineup after the birth of his first child, and Steve Smith and Mitchell Starc are both well again.

According to Finch, Labuschagne’s exclusion was due to a novel framework they wanted to test.

“The reasoning behind Marnus is we’re just going with an allrounder-heavy side,” Finch told reporters one day out from the game.
