
During the sixth over of the first ODI between India and Australia, two men entered the field as a form of protest against the Adani group’s coal project in India.
One of the of the men who entered the field was carrying a placard on which they had wrote about the project. The sixth over was being bowled by Navdeep Saini as he getting ready on his mark, the two men entered the field with their placards. They were soon escorted by the security officials out of the ground.
The Australian Government has allowed to fill the stadiums 50 percent of their original limit. This is the first time since the pandemic hit the globe that the fans are allowed in stadiums to watch the game.
Australia has lost their opener David Warner to Mohammed Shami when the southpaw was caught behind the stumps while playing a shot. The original decision was not out but India used their review and had success in it. The decision was overturned when a spike was seen on ultrasound.
