The third test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy was the pink test as it was for the McGrath Foundation for helping patients with breast cancer.
Sachin Tendulkar has now joined the list as one of the donors for the noble cause.
Sachin gave his Team India’s test jersey which will now be auctioned and all the money will go to the nurses who are helping patients dealing with breast cancer. Sachin himself signed the jersey and handed it to the legendary bowler and the head of McGrath Foundation, Glenn McGrath.
The jersey will be online for auction and the highest bidder will get the jersey. The money raised from this will go to all the nurses who help the patients who are dealing with breast cancer. McGrath Foundation has a target of raising 1 Million Dollars for this cause.
The Australian cricket team annually plays the Pink test in support of the Foundation. This test is always played at the iconic Sydney cricket ground. The Cricket Australia management also extended their support by getting the virtual pink seats for the fans. The fans can experience match from their homes as well.
