AUS vs IND: Jadeja talks about his brillant day in the field

 

The third test between India and Australia is underway as Jadeja performed brilliantly on day 2 as he picked 4 wickets. He was brilliant on the field as India was struggling to get wickets. Jadeja provided the first breakthrough of the day. He went on to pick four-wicket in the entire innings. He ended the Australian innings with a brilliant throw to get rid of the centurion Steve Smith.

After a brilliant day in the field, Jadeja spoke to the press talking about his performance. Jadeja said that the wicket was not doing much and Ashwin who has been the key bowler for India to break partnerships wasn’t getting any help from the wicket. He said that when he came to bowl he just had one plan in his mind which was to keep bowling at the same spot consistently. He also added that he kept changing the pace of deliveries which helped him get the wickets.

Talking about the Smith run out, he said that he personally felt that it was the best effort he put in the day.  When asked about Ashwin, he said that Ashwin wasn’t getting any help from the wicket. The Australian batsmen came with a plan to bat against him. He said that the batsmen played aggressively against him and sometimes the things go in their way sometimes in bowlers’ favor.

When asked about his recent form with the bat, he said that he doesn’t think about any of these things. He said that he personally felt that he gives his 100 percent in whatever the role team demands from him.

Jadeja has been averaging over 50 with the bat for the past 3 years.
