The third T20 between Australia and India is underway as the captain of the Indian team has scored yet another half century in the chase.
India won the toss and chose to bowl as the Aussies set a high target of 187 in their 20 overs. The vice captain of Australia, Mathew Wade scored impressive 80 which helped the team cross 180 run mark. He was well supported by Smith and then by Maxwell to finish on a high. Maxwell scored impressive 54 to get Australia in the match.
Indian innings didn’t start well as they lost Rahul on the very second delivery of the second innings. Maxwell got the big wicket of Rahul. Dhawan and Kohli tried to build a partnership as they went on to add a 74 run stand. As soon as Dhawan got out, Kohli took the charge to lead the chase as he started placing the ball well. He scored his 25th fifty in 39 balls.
This innings had 3 boundaries in them.
He is now in a tense situation as India has lost two quick wickets and is now joined by Pandya in the middle. It will be interesting to know the intent he goes with in this chase.
