The third day of second test between India and Australia is underway as the hosts are closing in on the lead.
The day started with Indian batsmen Rahane who was on 104 and Jadeja on 40 came in to bat after dominant performance yesterday.
The duo was looking threatening again as they were playing the Aussie bowlers well on the Day 3 as well.
Jadeja was approaching his 14th half century as when he was on 49, he tried to steal a quick single to get to the mark. Rahane immediately responded well to Jadeja’s call and ran towards the striker’s end. Unfortunately for him he was found just outside the crease as he the bails were dislodged.
The third umpire saw it on the big screen and so did Jadeja who was seen upset with his call. He immediately apologized to his skipper for costing him his wicket. Rahane sportingly took the bad call which made him loose his wicket. The picture was grabbed on camera where Rahane was seen giving a pat to Jadeja who was clearly upset with his call.
Rahane played a match-changing knock of 112 which has put India in a dominant position.
