AUS v RSA: Australia beat South Africa by an innings and 182 runs

South Africa have lost the Test series against Australia.

Australian cricket team defeated South Africa in the second Test to clinch the three-match series. Australia won the second Test match with an innings and 182 runs. This was another huge victory for the host.

Just like the first Test match of the series, Australian cricket team dominated this Test as well. South Africa were put to bat first in the second Test and they could only score 189 runs in the first innings.

Australia with the help of David Warner’s double century and Alex Carey’s hundred scored 575 runs in the second innings. The host declared their innings with a huge lead of 386 runs. South Africa was on the verge of losing this game as well after Australia declared their innings.

Australian bowlers did the job for them as they bowled out the visitors on 204 runs in the third innings. Now, the World Test Championship’s (2021-23) table-toppers are leading this series by 2-0 against South Africa.
