The 21-year-old Yashasvi Jaiswal becomes the youngest Indian to score a T20I century. Jaiswal scored a stunning hundred against Nepal at the Pingfeng Campus Cricket Field in Hangzhou, China. Jaiswal scored an explosive maiden hundred in just 48 deliveries, which was his only sixth appearance in the T20I format. He attacked the opposing bowlers with eight fours and six massive sixes.
Jaiswal also broke the previous record holder, Shubhman Gill, who scored a hundred against New Zealand at the age of 23. He also registered himself as the eighth Indian batter to score a hundred in T20I, followed by Shubhman Gill, Virat Kohli, Kl Rahul, Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, Deepak Hooda, and Suresh Raina.
