Four wickets were taken by Bhuvneshwar for a total of 26 runs, including the prized victim, Pakistan captain Babar Azam. With 13 wickets in this portion of the game, he is once again a PowerPlay threat. In 18 T20Is, he has taken 24 wickets, second only to Sandeep Lamichhane and Joshua Little.
“Before bowling the first ball, I thought it was going to swing. There was no swing but there was a bit of bounce. We knew we had to bowl wicket to wicket, so bowling short was the plan,” he’d admit in the innings break.
