The Asia Cup 2023 is set to be held in the month of September. The draw has been made on Thursday, 5th January. India and Pakistan are in the same group in this Asia Cup 2023. Fans will be witnessing another classic India-Pakistan match in September 2023.
Last time when these teams met in any tournament was T20I World Cup in October, 2022. Indian team defeated them thanks to Virat Kohli who made an exquisite half century to win the first game of the World Cup.
Pakistan cricket team were the finalist of this competition. Pakistan were also the runner-ups of the Asia Cup 2022. They were beaten by Sri Lanka in the finals of the previous year’s Asia Cup. Indian cricket team are currently playing the three-match T20I series against Sri Lanka and then will be against New Zealand.
India then will be facing Australia in the Test and ODI series before IPL 2023. The upcoming fixtures of India is very important. Just after the Asia Cup 2023, the ODI World Cup 2023 will be started in the month of October.
