Indian cricket team are playing against Pakistan in the Asia Cup first game today where the blues have won the toss and decided to bat first. The stage was set at a packed stadium in Pallekele International cricket stadium, where emotions ran high on both sides of the border. Pakistan supporters were fervently hoping for a breakthrough as India’s opening batsmen walked out to the middle. The atmosphere was charged with anticipation as the bowler ran in to deliver the first ball of the match.
However, what was next was truly unexpected. As the bowler Shaheen Afridi released the ball, it disappeared as it was a brilliant shot by captain Rohit Sharma. The Pakistan fans, known for their passionate support, erupted into cheers of “Ball nahi dikh rhi!” the ball later Rohit smashed the boundary which translates to “We can’t see the ball!” Their cheers filled the stadium as they playfully expressed their frustration at the disappearing cricket ball or they may have cheered that to tease Indian fans just to show their support to their team i.e. Pakistan cricket team.
