
The sudden demise of Former Australian cricketer Andrew Symonds is extremely saddening for all the cricket fraternity. The explosive batter died at the age of 46 in a car accident. The news was out on Saturday night and many ex-cricketers gave condolences to him and his family.
Nobody would have imagined that the legendary cricketer Andrew Symonds is going to die at the age of just 46. The Former Australian cricketer gave his fans some of the greatest moments in the history of the Indian Premier League. He was known for his power hitting and he has played so many amazing innings against the Indian cricket team.
Andrew Symonds has also won World Cup with Australia and not only this but also had an IPL title to his name. Former Deccan Chargers’ man had so many great moments in the Indian Premier League. He played some fantastic innings for Deccan Chargers which lead the team to victory.

1. 117* runs Vs Rajasthan Royals (IPL):
Andrew Symonds who was known for his explosive hitting, especially in the death overs played one of the best innings of IPL in the year 2008. He scored an amazing 117* runs against Rajasthan Royals in just 53 balls. Symonds’ this wonderful inning helped Deccan Chargers go past 200 runs in 20 overs. In the game against Rajasthan Royals, he hit 11 boundaries and 7 sixes.
2. 151 v Sri Lanka:
In February 2006, when Australia was against Sri Lanka in the VB Series, Symonds made 151 runs from 127 balls, hitting the ball everywhere on the ground. This was also one of his amazing innings as he made a huge partnership of 124 runs with the former Australian captain Ricky Ponting who is also now the coach of the IPL franchise Delhi Capitals.
3. 162* v India, 2008:
In the year 2008, when the Indian team was against Australia at SCG, Symonds scored a mammoth of 162* to take his team to a huge total. He came to bat when the Australian team was in trouble as they were 134/6. Indian bowlers were finding it so difficult to get him out and he kept hitting throughout the innings.
4. 143* v Pakistan, 2003:
Andrew Symonds, this inning of 143 not out against the Pakistan cricket team was one of his best and most important inning as this gave him a huge bounce in his career. He shifted the momentum and snatched the match from the hands of Pakistan. Australia were 86/4 when he came to bat at New Wanderers. He hit 18 boundaries and 2 huge sixes in his inning of 143* against Pakistan. Andrew Symonds single-handedly took the score from 84/6 to 310/8. Later, Australia won this game and Andrew Symonds was named man of the match for his exceptional inning.
