Alex Carey becomes the first Australian wicket-keeper to score a Test century since 2013

Australian team are dominating South Africa in the second Test as well.

Australian team are on fire again in this Test match against South Africa. The host are taking charge on South African bowlers in the second Test match of the series which is being played at Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). Australia’s lead have gone past 360 runs and their current score is 550/7.

After a blistering double century by Australian opener David Warner, the wicket-keeper batter Alex Carey also scored a century in the game. Alex Carey became the first Australian wicket-keeper to score a Test century since 2013. No other wicket-keeper batter of Australia did that for almost 10 years.

Alex Carey is currently on the crease with Cameron Green and the partnership between them is 50+. Alex Carey is currently playing on 110 runs and will look to add on some more before Australia decides to declare their innings.

The second Test is also likely to win by Australia and this will seal the series for them.
