Afghanistan Board names Hamid Hassan as new bowling coach

The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) has changed its coaching staff. Former fast bowler Hamid Hassan has been named as the new bowling coach for the national men’s cricket team. Hassan will play in the upcoming T20I series against Pakistan.

Hassan, widely regarded as one of the greatest players to ever represent Afghanistan, played 38 ODIs and 25 T20Is for the national team, taking 59 and 35 wickets respectively. He has led Afghanistan’s bowling attack for many years and will now serve as their bowling coach.

“Afghanistan’s Fast Bowling Great @hamidhassanHH retired from International Cricket and has been named as AfghanAtalan’s New Bowling Coach,” Afghanistan Cricket Board posted on Twitter as they made the announcement.
