‘AB de Villiers’ can make a comeback to the SA’s national team says Mark Boucher

AB De Villiers, an unorthodox batsman had a splendid Indian Premier League (IPL 2020). Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) managed to qualify for the play-offs. De Villiers scored 338 runs with a destructive strike rate of 171.21. Mark Boucher believes De Villiers can make come back to South Africa’s national team.

While expressing himself on recent performances of De Villiers the SA head coach said“AB was in discussions before Covid, he is always in discussions when he is playing good cricket, to be honest with you. Going forward I haven’t had a discussion with him at all, he has been playing in the IPL. He had a very good IPL too,” 

De Villiers retired from all form of cricket in May 2018. In 2019, He proposed to make a comeback for the SA team, However, it was rejected by the team management. The former SA cricketer will only be seen in the next edition of the IPL.
