Colts GM provides update on Anthony Richardson’s shoulder

The last time we caught a glimpse of Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson, there were murmurs of concern about some soreness in his throwing shoulder. However, General Manager Chris Ballard was quick to put any worries to rest.

Appearing on the GM Shuffle podcast, Ballard reassured fans that Richardson will be raring to go when training camp kicks off. “He’ll be full-go. He was full-go up until the last day of OTAs,” Ballard explained. “We had two heavy throwing sessions the two days before, so we backed off on the last day.”

While neither the Colts nor Richardson himself seemed overly concerned about his absence from the final minicamp practice, it’s comforting to hear Ballard’s confident update. It looks like the budding star will be back in action, ready to prove himself come training camp.
