Asian Games 2023: India makes history by claiming the first gold in badminton

Indian duo Satwiksairaj Ranikireddy & Chirag Shetty created history by winning the first gold for the country in Badmimton at the 2023 Asian Games.

They defeated South Korea in the race for the gold by 21-18 & 21-16. This makes it the third medal for India in badminton at the 19th Asian Games.
