India takes home another gold after shooters Sarabjot Singh, Arjun Singh Cheema, and Shiva Narwal accumulated 1734 points to surpass China, which stood second with 1733 points. Vietnam finished third, claiming 1730 points to bag the bronze at Hangzhou, China.
This clinched India’s 24th overall medal and fourth gold in the shooting category. However, India couldn’t flourish much in the 10 meter air pistol individual event. Sabarjot Singh finished fifth with 580 points, while Arjun Singh ranked eighth with 578 points.
