Aditi Ashok clears the first round at the AIG Women’s open

Indian Golfer Aditi Ashok makes cut for the second time and creates her personal best with a T22 finish.

Aditi Ashok cleared the first round at the AIG Women’s open to ensure her place for the Weekend round and giving high hopes after her great performance in Tokyo 2020 Olympics. Aditi hung a tough Closing of holes and it was a challenging task for her to finish 36 holes in one over at Carnoustie Links, which was the cut line as well because 66 players were already successful in making the cut.

Even though Aditi had Birdie on the sixth but gave that gain back in the very next hole. Aditi missed the shots on Par-3s on the tougher back nine. She had already birdied Par-3 13th and Par-3 16th on the first day. She was successful in negotiating the last two holes with pars to slide into the Weekend round.
