Ollie Bearman’s Qatar Grand Prix has turned into a nightmare.
During his pit stop, the Haas driver was released without his left-rear wheel attached — a rare and dangerous pit-lane blunder. Realising the mistake almost instantly, the team scrambled to fit the wheel properly, but the damage was done.
Bearman rejoined the race in 18th place, absolutely furious.
He repeatedly punched his steering wheel, and even his race engineer Ronan had to get on the radio telling him to calm down.
The FIA is now investigating the stop for an unsafe release, making things even worse for the British rookie.
A complete disaster for Bearman — and one that could have serious consequences for Haas.
