Vodafone Idea, recently rebranded as Vi has now become the co-presenting sponsor for the Indian Premier League 2020 along with Dream 11. The sponsorship comes after the telecom Vodafone and Idea completed the integration of Vodafone India and Idea Cellular.
Vi said in a statement “Vi has acquired the co-sponsorship rights of the live broadcast of T-20 premier league which will be held in Abu Dhabi, UAE and telecast on the Star Sports Network.
Dream 11 had won the title sponsorship of the IPL event for Rs. 222 crore last month.
Chief Digital Transformation and Brand Officer, Vodafone Idea Limited said “Our association with Dream 11 IPL 2020 will provide Vi an instant connect with millions of viewers and I am confident that this will not only help build awareness of Vi but also help in building relevance and customer confidence.”
