Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Jio to offer free internet services to promising startups

On Monday, Mukesh Ambani announced that Jio wil help the budding startups for their development by providing free internet services

On Monday, Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani announced that Reliance Jio will provide free internet services that will help the startups to develop further.


He said that the startups will be benefitted on a large scale as it will reduce their 80% of the cost which is required for cloud and connectivity infrastructure.

Ambani during his 42nd AGM speech on Monday was quoted saying, “Jio is a startup built in India for India and we have a special place in our hearts for startups. You may know 80% of the cost of running a startup goes towards cloud and connectivity infrastructure”

He further added, “I urge all startups to register for their custom designed package on and this service will be available from Jan 1, 2020. We will also financially invest and support those startups which have the potential to address India’s big needs in agriculture, health care, education and skill development.”

As per the reports in Economic Times, by time Jio has invested in 14 technology startups to build various solutions.
