Bharti Airtel has partnered with Google to offer Google One cloud storage services to its customers. As part of this collaboration, Airtel postpaid and Wi-Fi users will receive six months of 100 GB Google One cloud storage at no extra cost. This initiative is aimed at addressing the common issue of limited device storage by providing users with additional digital space to store photos, videos, documents, and other content.
The offer will be accessible through the Airtel Thanks app. Customers can activate the service by logging into the app and claiming the benefit. After the six-month complimentary period, users who choose to continue with the service will be charged ₹125 per month. Those who do not wish to subscribe can opt out without further charges.
The cloud storage is compatible with both Android and iOS platforms. It supports data backup for apps like WhatsApp on Android, allowing easier transfer of data when switching devices. Users can also share the 100 GB of storage with up to five additional people, enabling convenient storage management for families or groups.
By integrating Google One into its services, Airtel aims to provide a practical solution to the increasing demand for secure and accessible cloud storage among its customer base.
