
Lemon Tree Hotels has announced the signing of a license agreement for a new property under its Keys Select brand in Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir. The upcoming 40-room hotel is expected to open in FY 2026 and will be managed by Carnation Hotels, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels Limited.
This new property will feature two restaurants, a meeting room, and a fitness center, enhancing the company’s presence in the region. With this addition, Lemon Tree Hotels will have a total of five properties in Jammu & Kashmir, including one currently operational.
The Srinagar hotel is located just 9 km from the Sheikh Ul Alam International Airport and will be well connected by road. Known for its scenic beauty and cultural richness, Srinagar is a major tourist destination, and the new property is set to cater to both business and leisure travelers.
Mr. Vilas Pawar, CEO of Managed & Franchise Business at Lemon Tree Hotels, expressed excitement over the expansion, noting that this new property will complement the brand’s existing hotels in the region.
Lemon Tree Hotels Limited is one of India’s largest hotel chains, with over 180 hotels in its portfolio, including more than 110 operational hotels across the country and internationally. The group continues to expand with plans for more hotels in India, Dubai, Bhutan, and Nepal.
