MYTH : You shouldn’t go swimming during periods.

FACT : Of course you can ! But instead of using a pad, opt for tampons or period panties or period swimmers. They are leakproof and can absorb blood really well.

MYTH : You should never exercise during your periods

FACT : You can exercise during your periods. In fact, it is even recommended to do some light exercises when you are on your period. Some exercises also help with the cramps. So, you can definitely exercise during this time

MYTH : You shouldn’t wash hair during periods.

FACT : It is ok to wash hair during periods. There is no reason why you can not wash your hair during this time.

MYTH : PMS isn’t real

FACT : Premenstrual syndrome (PMS) is an actual condition which affects majority of the women. It occurs a few weeks or days before periods. Some of the PMS symptoms are bloating, headaches, and mood changes like irritation, depression etc. Some also experience cramping before periods.

MYTH : You shouldn’t go near ot touch plants during your periods.

FACT : There is no scientific reason for why you should not touch or go near plants. It’s not going to affect the plants in any way if you are on your period.
