The number of COVID-19 containment zones hikes as the Delhi Government amps up COVID-19 testing.The increased testing is necessary as the number of cases has been consistently increasing in the country’s capital.
The number of containment zones was 539 on 1st August. By the 27th of the same month, it increased to 716 and subsequently to 976 on 5th September.
on 6th September the number rose to 1,076 breeching the 1000th mark.
