While addressing the nation on Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the 100 crore vaccine breakthrough displays a new image of India and is an answer to all those challenging the country’s vaccination drive. This will be Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s tenth address to the nation since March 2020. The first was on March 19, 2020, in which PM Modi had declared the Janta Curfew amidst rising COVID-19 cases.

Calling India’s vaccination drive as a journey from “anxiety to assurance” that has made the country rise mightier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi wrote: “The journey from anxiety to assurance has happened, and our nation has emerged stronger, thanks to the world’s largest vaccination drive. It has been a truly bhagirath effort involving multiple sections of society.”

He added, “The vaccine drive is an example of what India can achieve if the citizens and the government come together with a common goal in the spirit of Jan Bhagidari. When everyone takes ownership, nothing is impossible.”

Even while inaugurating a new building at the Delhi AIIMS campus via video conferencing, the prime minister said that the nation now has a protecting guard of 100 crore vaccination doses against the worst pandemic that the world has seen in over 100 years.

PM Narendra Modi says that the 100 crore vaccine dose accomplishment goes to all 130 crore Indians. PM Modi congratulates all Indians for the vital breakthrough accomplished on Thursday. “This is not just a number, it is a beginning of a new chapter, a new India,” said PM Modi.

There was a lot of tension from different interest groups to give special treatment to them during vaccination drives. But the government assured that, like our other schemes, there is no VIP lifestyle in the vaccination drive.

PM Narendra Modi says some concerns were also raised about the strict COVID-19 restrictions. “Many noted that how can such severe limitations be inflicted in India. But in a democracy, we have considered the needs of all, following our sabka saath, sabka vikaas principle.”

PM Narendra Modi explains how world nations are still fighting vaccine hesitation while related concerns were asked in India. But the 100 crore vaccine dose accomplishment proves how India conquered the vaccine scepticism. With faith in science and innovations, India has managed to accomplish this significant feat.

Last year, many traders had experienced massive failures as sales during Diwali had dropped significantly due to the COVID-19 virus. However, this year, thanks to 100 crore people getting vaccinated, people feel much safer, and our dealers can do business like usual, the Prime Minister said.

PM Narendra Modi says that “we would hear ‘made in this country’, ‘made in that country’, but now all Indians understand the power of ‘Made in India’. I request all Indians to support Indian manufacturers by purchasing ‘Made in India’ products, promoting ‘Vocal for Local’.”

The Prime Minister said specialists in India and abroad are very optimistic about India’s economy. “Today, not only record investment is coming to Indian companies, but new employment opportunities are also being created for the youth,” he added.

PM Narendra Modi requested everyone to wear masks and follow all COVID-19 customs even though the country has vaccinated over 100 crore people. He also advised those who are yet to take the vaccine to get their jabs at the earliest.
