Kerala Industries and sports minister E P Jayarajan and wife PK Indira have tested positive for COVID-19. The minister and his wife are currently admitted into the Government Medical College Hospital at Pariyaram, Kannur. Four of his office staff have also been quarantined, according to sources.
Jayarajan is the second minister to be tested in tested positive in the state, after Thomas Issac, Finance Minister had found to be infected with the Coronavirus on Sunday, which has led to many ministers including the Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and speaker P Sreeramakrishnan to go into quarantine.
