
In the 7th address to the nation since the COVID-19 outbreak, Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged the citizens to not let their guard down. He has requested not to ease off so quickly though the lockdown has been lifted. He asked to keep wearing masks, follow social distancing and wash hands regularly.
He reiterated the “Do Gaj Ki Doori, Mask Zaroori” mantra and pointed out that India has fought well against the novel Coronavirus infection.
“Many countries are working towards the COVID-19 vaccine. In India, our scientists are also working hard towards it. The government will ensure that the vaccine is reached to each and every citizen of India,” he said on the Coronavirus vaccine.
Towards the end, he wished everyone Happy Navratri, Dusherra, Eid, and other festive wishes in the coming times.
