COVID-19: Odisha govt announces 14 day lockdown from 5 to 19 May

In the last 24 hours, India reported 3,92,488 new COVID-19 cases and 3,07,865 patients got discharge, while 3689 people died of this deadly virus.

On Sunday, May 2, Odisha Government announces 14 day lockdown from  May 5th to May 19th 2021, due to surge in the COVID-19 cases, reports ANI.

In last 24 hours, Odisha reported 8,015 new COVID-19 cases and total casualties reported are 14.

On May 1, Delhi government also announces extension of lockdown by one week and imposed restrictions till 10 May 2021, due to huge surge in the COVID-19 cases in Capital.

In the last 24 hours, India reported 3,92,488 new COVID-19 cases and 3,07,865 patients got discharge, while 3689 people died of this deadly virus. Total active cases in India is now around 33.49 lakhs. The total death toll in India reached to 2,15,542.
