COVID-19 mirrors the SARS origin, researchers claim it originated from animals

Behind the origin of coronavirus and how it spread, scientists have been searching the growing calls for finding how its origin has been. Some of the new research points have said that it mirrored the SARS outbreak which was 17 years ago and an animal contagion is most likely its explanation. Researchers have looked at the epidemiological history of the SARS CoV-2 and compared it to the previous market-associated outbreaks within animals and it offers a simple route for human exposure to it.

Some of the researchers in the pre-print versions during this study have given a detailed explanation of SARS Cov-2’s genetically mutated signatures, earlier epidemiology, and research undertaken at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

Many speculations about covid-19 have been emerging around the two competing ideas of the escaped laboratory virus or spillover from animal research

The paper, which is not yet been reviewed, was released this Wednesday and is set to be submitted to a journal for its publication.

The pre-print versions of this paper have been signed by some of the leading experts in the coronavirus and the various genetics of this virus which included Kristian Anderson of the Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla, California, the evolutionary biologist Michael Worobey from the University of Arizona, Andrew Rambuet from the institute of evolutionary biology at the Edinburg University. Angela Rasmussen from the University of Saskatchewan, Stephan Goldstein from the department of human genetics of the Utah University, John Wertheim from the University of California, San Diego, and Jeremy Farrar of Britain’s Wellcome Trust, as reported by CNN.

The World health organization (WHO) at some time had said that this virus could have been in circulation in many regions before it was even first identified in early 2020 but there is no evidence of its large outbreaks
