COVID-19: Maharashtra reports 21,656 COVID-19 cases yesterday

Maharashtra and Mumbai delineate new COVID-19 cases on Friday increasing the total figure up to 11 lakh.

Maharashtra delineated 21,656 COVID cases this Friday, raising the total to 11,67,496. Unfortunately, 406 individuals passed away due to the virus increasing the death toll to 31,791. According to reports of the state health department, “the number of active cases is pitched at 3,00,887.”

Mumbai also delineated COVID cases this Friday raising the total to 1,80,542. 52 patients passed away due to the virus increasing the death toll to 38,372 with the number of active cases pitched at 34,136.

The pandemic has caused over 1 lakh deaths out of the 52 lakh mark in India. However, there are 1,37,664 patients who have recovered to date.
