Chairman of Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust tests positive for Coronavirus

Mahant Nritya Gopaldas, the chairman of Ram Janmabhoomi, tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday. On August 5, he was at the panel with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Mahant Nritya Gopaldas, Chairman of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust and Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi Nyas, has tested positive for novel Coronavirus.

He had shared the stage with PM Narendra Modi last week during the pioneering event of Ram Janmbhoomi.

This announcement was made by Vishva Hindu Parishad Vice-President Champat Rai, who was designated Secretary General of the Trust.

Avadhesh Upadhyay, a disciple of Mahant, said that Maharaj ‘s health was bad due to coughing cold.

The health department team entered the temple after reports spread regarding Mahantiji ‘s well-being, and after checkup it was reported that he has been diagnosed with novel Coronavirus.
