“At such a crisis time, the oxygen supply should not be stopped” MP CM Chauhan requests Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray

“As part of our long-term planning, we have given a green light to INOX to set up an oxygen plant with an installed capacity of 200 tonnes in Mohasa near Babai in Hoshangabad in the next six months,” the chief minister said.

Madhya Pradesh CM, Shivraj Singh Chauhan has requested Uddhav Thackeray to resume oxygen supply to the state.

“The shortage of oxygen was worrying me a lot. I spoke to Uddhav Thackeray and urged him that at such a crisis time, the oxygen supply should not be stopped,” the chief minister said. At a time when every state is dealing with the pandemic, “He assured that though he himself was facing problems due to the Covid-19 situation, he would do his best in this regard,” he added.

Madhya Pradesh used to receive a supply of 20 tonnes of oxygen from a company INOX in Nagpur.  “As part of our long-term planning, we have given a green light to INOX to set up an oxygen plant with an installed capacity of 200 tonnes in Mohasa near Babai in Hoshangabad in the next six months,” the chief minister said.

The state government has also asked small oxygen plants in Madhya Pradesh to increase their production at full potential instead of 50 to 60 per cent.
