Problems such as eye pain, blurred vision, watery eyes and poor vision are becoming more common as a result of excessive screen time along with unhealthy eating habits and lifestyle.

1. Palming exercise

Palming is a simple activity that reduces eye strain and improves vision. To begin the exercise, rub your palms together to produce heat. Then, gently press your palm on your eyes for a few seconds and repeat 5-7 times.

2. Eye rolling

Another simple exercise you may do at any time is rolling your eyes. For a few minutes, begin by rolling your eyes in a clockwise motion. Take a moment to relax and roll your eyes anti-clockwise direction. Repeat 5 times.

3. Blink frequently

Blink frequently while carrying a laptop or a mobile device. This reduces the stress on the eyes. Close your eyes for two seconds, then open them. Then, blink your eyes constantly for at least 5 seconds. Doing this at least 5 to 7 times will reduce eye tiredness and enhance eye health.

4. Keep splashing water

To keep your eyes healthy, wash them with water several times. Fill your mouth with water, close your eyes and splash it around 15 to 20 times. Doing this before sunrise is quite beneficial.

5. Refocusing

Refocusing is an activity that you must perform when constantly working on your laptop. Look away from the screen at regular intervals to focus on a distant object. Look at your palm, and then turn your attention to the distant item. Repeat 5 times.
