L&T Energy CarbonLite Solutions, a division of Larsen & Toubro (L&T), has received a ‘Limited Notice to Proceed’ (LNTP) from NTPC Ltd. for constructing ultra mega thermal power projects in Madhya Pradesh and Bihar. These projects, valued as “Ultra-Mega” orders by L&T, involve the main plant packages for a 2×800 MW Stage-II thermal power plant in Gadarwara, Madhya Pradesh, and a 3×800 MW Stage-II thermal power plant in Nabinagar, Bihar.
The scope of work includes the design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, erection, and commissioning of critical components such as boilers, turbines, electrostatic precipitators (ESP), and other mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and civil works.
