A passenger aircraft has crashed near Ahmedabad’s Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport, with the crash site now identified as Meghani Nagar, a residential locality in the city. The incident occurred just meters from the airport premises, according to early reports.

Emergency visuals posted by @GujaratFirst show thick black smoke rising from the crash site, with ambulances and fire engines rushing to the location. The fire department is en route, and authorities are yet to confirm the cause of the crash or the status of passengers and crew on board.

Local residents reported hearing a loud noise, followed by the fire, triggering panic in the area. The Faiqa department has provided initial information, but an official statement from aviation authorities is still awaited.
