The new R15M has been released in the Indian market by Yamaha Motor India. Along with new features, it also gets a new carbon fibre trim version. The new Carbon Fibre Pattern costs ₹2,08,300, while the R15M in Metallic Grey is priced at ₹1,98,300. Both prices are ex-showroom.
The Carbon Fibre Pattern is inspired by R1M’s carbon bodywork and applied with a water-dipping technique. The flanks of the rear side panels, the sides fairing and the front cowl all have this design. The R15M receives blue wheels, new markings on the tank and side fairing and an all-black fender in addition to the carbon fibre pattern.
The R15M was recently enhanced with the addition of music and volume control features, as well as Turn-by-Turn Navigation. These features can be utilized through the Y-Connect Application, which is available for download on the Google Play Store for Android smartphones and the App Store for iOS devices. This model also includes a newly designed LED license plate light and upgraded switchgear.
There are no mechanical modifications. It still has the same 155 cc fuel-injected engine that can generate up to 18.10 bhp at 10,000 rpm and 14.2 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm. There is a 6-speed gearbox with a quickshifter, slip and assist clutch and other features on duty.
