When Royal Enfield introduced the J platform Classic 350, it marked a tectonic shift for the company’s best-selling model. It offered a very modern riding experience while maintaining the heritage and unique qualities of its predecessor. However, since then, the premium motorcycle market in India has seen significant change. As a result, Royal Enfield is expected to update its Classic lineup shortly in order to rival the several competitors that have entered the market.
There probably won’t be any mechanical modifications to the Classic 350 instead, the update’s primary objective will be to improve its feature set. As with the current Classic 350 lineup, many models will be offered and the lesser variants will most likely include a model with a rear drum brake. The main visual change is expected to be the LED lighting. The headlights, taillights, and pilot lights will be LED units.
The current ex-showroom pricing of the Royal Enfield Classic 350 is between Rs 1.93 lakh and Rs 2.25 lakh. With the introduction of this updated model, it will be fascinating to see if the company raises pricing in response to increasing competition.
