The TVS Apache RTX 300, the brand’s first-ever adventure (ADV) bike, has been spotted testing ahead of its anticipated 2025 launch. This marks a significant step for the Hosur-based manufacturer as it ventures into the off-road segment. Likely powered by the newly unveiled RT-X4D engine from MotoSoul 2024, the Apache RTX 300 promises a thrilling and versatile riding experience.
The RT-X4D engine is a 300cc unit that generates 35PS at 9,000rpm and 28.5Nm at 7,000rpm, offering a flatter torque curve compared to the 312cc engine in the Apache RR 310 and RTR 310. This design makes the engine beginner-friendly while being ideal for off-road adventures. The bike is expected to feature the RTX suffix, aligning with TVS’ naming conventions for off-road models, similar to their track-focused RR and road-biased RTR series.
Spy shots reveal that the Apache RTX 300 has a tall, ADV-style stance. It is equipped with a large windscreen, a half-fairing, wide handlebars, and a mid-set footpeg setup, perfect for long-distance touring. Touring accessories, including a rear top box, are also expected. The bike will feature a digital instrument console, likely a TFT display, as seen on the Apache RTR 310. Additional features may include ride modes, switchable ABS, traction control, and cruise control, enhancing its performance on diverse terrains.
